ABOUT LIZ
MY STORY
Hi Guys, my name is Liz Durham. I grew up in a small town in East TN.
Juggling family life and a career became a nightmare for me, so I decided to step away from my job this year. I am now transitioning to being a full time stay at home mom.
Throughout my life I have been successful in the workplace, but my personal life always seemed to be a disaster. I have always seemed to thrive in chaos, but I don’t want to teach my kids to live chaotic lives. My hobby has been my work, but I don't want my career to define me.
Thanks for listening - I’m glad you are here!
My upbringing was somewhat unconventional: I was homeschooled until eighth grade and attended a small private christian school for high school. I studied Agricultural Economics for undergrad and grad school at the University of TN. I then got married and entered the workforce beginning my career at Farm Credit.
I experienced a rocky phase in my life and went through a divorce and the aftermath that comes with that. I also transitioned to Ameris Bank where I was a mortgage banker for 7 years. I met my husband Luke and we now have two awesome kids that are giving me a run for my money.
“Life is beautiful and really hard, but I truly believe we can all make a difference and that God has a plan for each of us. Please tag along in this crazy journey with me as I grow, learn, stumble, get back up, and try my best to do better every day.”
